Charter Boats

We are trying to have as many boats available for charter as possible for those sailors coming from outside continental Europe. Assignment will be on a first-come first-serve basis. Those from Europe are encouraged to bring or arrange their own material from their club. The refundable damage deposit is set to 100 Euro per boat in the Hansa 2.3, Hansa 303 and Liberty class.
Please send your  charter enquiry to:  BoatCharter@2016HansaWorlds.com

Hansa 2.3
Expected to be no problem in availability.  FEE = 150 EURO for the whole event. In The Netherlands there is quite a large fleet of 2.3S models that are equipped with the Full Servo equipment. Those from Europe are encouraged to bring or arrange their own material from their club. The Charterfee of a Hansa 2.3 is 150 EURO with or without the Servo Equipment. When a manual configuration is required, we will temporarily take out the Servo Equipment.

Liberty
Most of the Liberty’s in The Netherlands are privately owned and the owners are most likely to compete in the 2016 Worlds. There are several Liberty’s throughout Europe. The owners are encouraged to make those available for this event when not being used by any of their country sailors. Any charter for a Liberty will be handled on a first come – first serve basis. Shipping your own boat in a collective manner will be a great help to raise the numbers competing in this class. The charter-fee for a Liberty will be 550 EURO for the whole event.

SKUD18
Most of the SKUD18’s around are privately owned or under management of a National team.
Those that like to charter a boat that is already in The Netherlands can choose from the 2 MKI demo boats managed by the Dutch Hansa Sailing representative. You may get lucky when approaching one of the nations that have more than one boat available and are happy to bring an extra boat along to the Netherlands with their team. Please keep in mind that prior to the 2016 Hansa Worlds, The Delta Lloyd regatta is held at the same venue where also the Skud 18 class is competing under the Paralympic format. This year’s Delta Lloyd Regatta is also the last Paralympic World Cup before Rio 2016.
